01Project
Overview |
Sisi Kiri is a coffee shop in Medan, Indonesia. A group of friends started their business by selling coffee from a truck every Saturday night on the street. After a year, they began earning more income and decided to build a coffee shop. My team and I were asked to create a brand identity that emphasizes their brand name, 'Sisi Kiri,' which translates to 'on the left side' in English, as in the left side of the road.

02Challenge
|
The primary hurdle in this project involved conveying the concept of 'left' in connection with the coffee shop. We conducted numerous logo explorations, considering various elements such as coffee seeds, trees (due to the coffee shop's lush surroundings), and even experimenting with different typefaces |
03Project
Overview |
The brand identity draws inspiration from the café's natural ambiance, with lush trees observed during our site visit. Our visual language aligns with a clean, minimal, and contemporary style, tailored to resonate with our primary target audience, primarily teenagers aged 18-25, and secondarily, individuals aged 28-35. The logo we've crafted also serves as the basis for graphic elements and signage icons. |
